Marina Dalglish, wife of football legend Kenny and breast cancer survivor, recently presented Dr. Anna Campbell and Dr. Sian Tovey with a cheque from the charity The Marina Dalglish Appeal.   CanRehab also successfully applied for a grant from the Pfizer Foundation.  This money will be used to fund the pioneering new scheme Active ABC – After Breast Cancer, which aims to get breast cancer patients exercising during and after breast cancer treatment.   The Living Trust has awarded CanRehab a grant of £15,000 towards developing a qualification in cancer rehabilitation for exercise instructors and Macmillan have agreed to fund the five year follow up of all the participants in a clinical trial on the benefits of exercise during breast cancer treatment.
